Carson Rager, TJ Ferry and James Martin run an all-inclusive hunting and lodging operation in Christian County, in the far south-west corner of Kentucky on the Tennessee line.
They manage roughly 10,000 acres of row-crop farms and hardwood edge for whitetail and Eastern turkey, and the management is the pitch: food plots, farmland practices and year-round mineral sites, worked in the off season so the herd is there in the fall.
Hunters sit ground blinds, ladder stands, lock-on stands and shooting houses, with rifle, muzzleloader, crossbow or compound bow all on the table depending on the season segment they book.
The lodge is a remodelled farmhouse that takes six hunters at a time, deliberately small, so the hunt stays personal.
