Launch at La Linda for eighty-three miles down the protected Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River. This is the big one: a week to a fortnight in country where you may not see another paddler the whole way.
There are rapids here that sometimes have to be lined or portaged, so it is not recommended for absolute beginners, and prior paddling experience helps.
Camp is on the beaches. Gear and meals are provided.
Trips run for a minimum of two people and a maximum of eight. Shuttles and ground transport to and from the river are included; gratuities are not.
