Plan and Service Description

Effective 13 August 2026 · Version 1.0

This document describes what WildHQ currently offers and what a subscription costs. It forms part of our Terms of Use and our Outfitter Subscription Terms, and we update it as our services change.

1.What WildHQ currently does

As at the effective date above:

1.1We publish business profiles and trip listings for independent outfitters, and we market the marketplace those pages sit in.

1.2We pass on inquiries. When someone sends an inquiry through WildHQ, we deliver it to the outfitter they contacted, by email and in that outfitter's dashboard.

1.3What we do not currently do.WildHQ does not take bookings, process payments between a traveler and an outfitter, hold deposits, act as agent for either side, or charge commission on an outfitter's trips. We are not a travel agent, tour operator, guide, or broker.

1.4Features we do not currently offer. Traveler accounts, saved or favorited listings, messaging between travelers and outfitters, reviews or ratings, and any form of online booking or payment for a trip.

1.5This section describes the present, not a commitment about the future. We may add, change, or withdraw any part of the Service, and where we introduce a feature described conditionally in our agreements, we will update this document and publish any additional terms that apply to it.

2.Who WildHQ is for

2.1Travelers use WildHQ free of charge. We charge nothing to browse, to search, or to send an inquiry, and we never will.

2.2Outfitters pay a subscription to list, described in section 3.

3.The outfitter subscription

3.1What it costs.

Rate$199/mo, billed annually
Charged$2,388 per year, in advance, as one payment
TermOne year, renewing annually
Setup or onboarding feeNone
Per-listing feeNone
Commission on your tripsNone
Per-inquiry chargeNone

There is no monthly billing option.

3.2What is included.

  • Your business profile, published on WildHQ
  • Unlimited trip listings. No cap, and no charge per listing
  • Every inquiry sent to you, delivered to the recipients you nominate
  • Your dashboard: listings, inquiries, media library, billing, and team
  • Help from us building your pages, writing your listings, and preparing your photography
  • Our marketing of the WildHQ marketplace, on the terms in section 4.2 of the Outfitter Subscription Terms

3.3Free until your first inquiry. You pay nothing until we deliver your first inquiry.

  • Your payment method is collected when you subscribe. It is not charged then.
  • You can build your pages, publish them, and start receiving inquiries with nothing charged.
  • When your first qualifying inquiry arrives we email you, and your first charge lands 7 days later.
  • Only the first qualifying inquiry starts billing. Later inquiries never start it again.
  • Cancel before that charge and you are charged nothing at all.

3.4What counts as an inquiry. A real person asking about a trip counts. That includes someone who never replies to you, someone still comparing options, and someone asking about a trip you do not run. Automated submissions, spam, and obvious junk do not count, and never start billing. Inquiries imported from an outfitter's previous website are marked as historical and can never start billing. If the inquiry that started your billing looks wrong to you, tell us. We will look at it and resolve it in your favor where there is any real doubt.

3.5Founding rate. The first fifteen outfitters to subscribe hold their rate for as long as their subscription stays continuously active. That rate is not subject to the annual increase in section 12.1 of the Outfitter Subscription Terms. If a founding subscription is canceled and later restarted, the founding rate does not return, and the rate then current applies. The rate for outfitters after the founding fifteen is not yet set.

3.6Canceling. Cancel yourself, from your dashboard, at any time. No phone call, no notice period, and no cancellation or early-termination fee. Your pages stay published until the end of the term you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded except in the circumstances in section 13.4 of the Outfitter Subscription Terms.

3.7If a subscription ends. The account is unpublished, so its profile and trips stop being publicly visible. Nothing is deleted. Listings, photographs, inquiries, and web addresses are kept, and the dashboard stays accessible. Subscribing again republishes the profile and its listings return with it.

4.Hosted accounts

Some accounts are hosted at no charge for a set period, generally because their listings were migrated onto WildHQ from a previous version of the site. A hosted account owes nothing for that period and holds no subscription and no payment method. We tell a hosted account before the period ends. After it ends, publishing requires a subscription. Nothing already published is deleted.

5.Additional products

We do not currently sell promoted placement, featured positions, advertising, or any product beyond the subscription in section 3. Where we introduce one, it will be described here and offered on the terms published with it, and buying one will never change a subscriber's rate or their founding rate.

6.Changes to this document

We update this document as the Service changes. Where a change materially reduces what a subscriber receives or increases what they pay, we give notice as required by section 21 of the Outfitter Subscription Terms, and the change applies from their next renewal rather than during a term. The headline rate is quoted as $199 per month for comparison; the amount charged is $2,388, once a year.
